Condition
This pair of armchairs have a lovely shape. There are chips to the later painted decorationa and some wood and gesso is visible, this wear is evidenced to extremities. There are some cracks to the joins but the chairs are very sturdy. Some rosettes are reapplied. The silk upholstery on the backs, arms and drop in seats is marked in places. Later metal pads to the underside of each foot. Very decorative.
