Description

  • ROSEWOOD MARBLE MAHOGANY
  • 89cm. high, 122cm. wide, 35.5cm. deep; 2ft. 11in., 4ft., 1ft. 2in.
with white marble tops and gilt- brass mounts, the simulated rosewood feet possibly slightly later

Provenance

Previously sold Sotheby`s London, Important English Furniture and Reference Works, 14th June 1985, Lot 222 then designated `The Property of Mr and Mrs Errol Bedford' and with a previous provenance of Sir Gawaine G.H. Baillie, Polkemmet House, West Lothian.

Condition

Overall these cabinets are in good condition. There are minor chips and scratches to the marble tops consistent with age and use. One has a crack across one corner. minor veneer losses consistent with age and use.
