Condition

Both are in overall good conserved condition. impressive lot. Mirrors: The gilding looks original in the main with nice cracquelure and some minor chips and there is minor surface dirt which would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Some minor hairline cracks and construction cracks at joints commensurate with age which can easily be filled. There are however some construction cracks at the base of both sides of one mirror which would benefit from some attention. Attractive detail to carving. Two minors sections of carving on the cresting of the same one are held in place with masking tape but which can easily be reglued. Console Tables: Gilding refreshed in parts and the painted decoration has been refreshed with some minor chips and flaking. There is a small section of moulding missing from the top left leg of one table but this can easily be replaced. The tops have some very minor chips and infil but are most attractive.
