Description
- satinwood
- 140cm. high, 4ft. 7in.
the brass upright engraved 'Dreyfous' Regd design 29 Mount Street', wired for electricity
Condition
Chic. The lamp adjusts into two different positions so will go higher than the height in the catalogue which is its lowered position. The brass is good and the signature legible, there are some scratches as to be expected from use. The brass socket would benefit from tightening as the fixing is slightly loose, and the mechanism a little sticky, when this is sorted the lamp will work well and it will be easy to adjust. The wood is good, although there are some old marks and some black marks, to be expected considering age and use. Will require re-wiring. An elegant and unusual piece that is great fun by a very good company.
