  • 143cm. high; 110cm. wide, 44cm. deep; 4ft. 8¼in., 3ft. 7½in., 1ft. 5¼in.
with a divided frieze drawer with the label Pietro Accorsi, via Po 55, Torino, the fall-front opening to reveal a tooled leather writing surface and fitted interior with pigeon holes with six short drawers later veneered in tulipwood, the lower section with two doors opening to reveal two shelves and two shallow drawers; remounted

Condition

The frieze drawer has been partially reveneered as the quality of the inlay differs from the panels on the side friezes. The detail of the engraving has been lost due to age and usage although the marquetry on the fall-front is generally in good condition, with some restorations stained in green. There are some hairline cracks and cracks in the doors and fall-front which will benefit from some minor attention. The handles on the internal drawers are later replacements. There are some minor sections of veneer missing and replaced, especially on the rear stiles. In overall good conserved condition, but just in need of some minor attention.
