Description

  • gilt-bronze, pine
  • 82cm. high, 79cm. wide, 52cm. deep; 2ft.8in., 2ft.7in., 1ft.8½in.
with an associated brèche d'alep marble top above two drawers; bearing the stamp Landry JME

Condition

Old minor marks, chips and scratches to marble top commensurate with age and normal usage. The right side has lost a lot of its contrasting colours. There are some minor chips to the ebonising and the lacquer, which can easily be touched up. There are some hairline cracks and cracks generally to the lacquer as visible from photograph. There has been some refreshment to the ebonising in parts. The gilt-bronze mounts are dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There has been some retouching to the lacquer. In otherwise good condition.
