- pine, marble
- 89cm. high, 65cm. wide, 45cm. deep; 2ft.11in., 2ft.1½in., 1ft. 5¾in.
with a grey marble top, with retail paper labels for Chenue, Paris.
Condition
The marble tops are in very good condition. Both with separations to joints on frieze and fractures to the centre which can easily be filled. There is a loss to the foliate carving on one pierced cartouche which can easily be restored. Chips and marks to the gilding throughout commensurate with age and use. Some minor repairs to the carved decoration. An attractive pair with nice detail to the carving.
