Description

in the French Hepplewhite style, the top inlaid with a fan motif and husks, within a flower and ribbon border, the shaped, carved and moulded apron, on fan capped cabriole legs, restorations

Condition

Old breaks to both back legs. Top with some losses to the marquetry. Lovely colour and patina. Characteristic age cracks to the freize. Old marks and scratches. The inner lower legs have plug holes which indicate the former existence of stretchers.
