Description

  • 85.5, 82.5 and 71 cm; 33 3/4, 32 1/2 and 28 in
comprising a malacca cane with silver-mounted ivory handle, the stick concealing a rhinoceros horn conductor's baton with silver cap engraved with initials PJ or PS, unmarked, probably English, second half 18th century; a rhino horn cane with simple silver handle, struck with maker's mark JTK, probably American, late 19th century; and another with metal-mounted ivory crop handle, late 19th century

Condition

First item with wear and some cracks on ivory cap; screw no longer functioning; wear also on silver cap of baton; second item OK; last with green discolouration on mount.
