Description

  • silver and glass
  • 26.8cm, 10 1/2 in high
each on a square base, the body applied with masks, lions' pelts, foliage and scrolling vines leading to vine tendril handles, each fitted with an Sheffield Plate collar and liner

Condition

The Sheffield plate rims have some wear at the highlights, the square bases are possibly later, some cracks to the glass directly below the rim which are only noitceable from the underside, hallmarks, decoration and colour of gilding are good.
