Description

decorated with the 'Marchioness of Huntley' pattern of trailing flower sprays within a broad apple green border,

Condition

There is a little minor rubbing to the gilded rim of the stand at one of the narrow ends. The tureen has a flake of green ground lacking next to the gilded lower rim near to one of the handles (possibly a firing flaw). The ladle has a very shallow chip to the exterior of the bowl near to the handle and a glaze/gilding chip to the bowl's rim. The cover has a minute shallow chip under the rim in the centre of one side. The knop has some shallow chipping to the lowest tier of petals and to the very topmost tier. Overall there are a few minor scratches to the green glaze.
