  • shell salt 10cm., 4in. high , shell sweetmeat dish: 12.4cm., 4¾in. wide
the pickle stand with fluted shell dishes set on an open stand applied with naturalistic shells and coral, the handle formed as a larger shell cluster, circa 1765-68, the sweetmeat dish formed as a single open shell, the rim in puce, a mixed flower spray in the base, circa 1756-58

Condition

Shell salt: there are a few minor small chips to applied shells and coral. One of the shell dishes has a fine crack extending from the rim for approximately 2cm and a small chip to the corner. Sweetmeat dish: a few light scratches and a small flake of enamel lacking to the pink rose.
