- Porcelain
- 10cm., 4in. length
of simple ivy leaf shape with a short stalk handle, the sides moulded externally with veins, the interior decorated in kakiemon style with banded hedges, flowering prunus, bamboo and a ho-ho bird in flight, the rim picked out with a red line (chips)
Condition
Two of the leaf points are chipped at the rim, the chip at the pointed tip of the leaf is very small, approx 2mm, the chip to the point on the right side is shallow but approx. 5mm wide. On the left side there is a hairline crack running down from the rim for approx. 5mm. There is minor wear to the red line border. There is a little very light fire-specking.
