Condition

This tapestry has old linen lining. Old hoops across the top. It is recommended that Velcro be added for hanging purposes in the future. The colours are more vibrant, crisper and more attractive in reality, than they appear in the catalogue photograph. Balanced colour overall. There are old repairs in areas, for example the visible lighter areas along the top edge of the sky and and some old rewoven areas, for example along the lower edge. Tapestry in stable condition, with decorative border. Balanced composition and good size. Attractive tapestry.
