With galleried top over a case with drawers, flanking a prospect door opening to an arrangement of drawers and a mirrored interior, above a stepped base on animal-paw feet, further raised on a stand with barley-twist legs.
Condition
With age and construction cracks, abrasions and dents. Ebonized ages refreshed with later black paint in areas; most to base. Veneer and inlay on sides with buckling and some lifting. Parquetry of central compartment with some cracks. Brass inlay with some lifting in areas and minor losses. Tortoiseshell with age cracks and some restorations. Mirror plates of central compartment with foxing. Gilt bronze appears to have been cleaned recently, figures on top onw lacking devices from hands. In good overall condition.
