Pile generally good, closely sheared, dense 1/8th of an inch through the central areas low to knotheads, not extensive. Scattered stains, particularly in upper left corner and in the lower center of the medallion where there is also a 1.5-2" reweave. Minor moth damage on reverse. Selvages intact, with some curling under to sides due to the density of the weave. Recommend steaming. Ends secured with binding stitch/ Robust, dense, weave, lustrous wool, sound fabric, in good condition.
