Condition

Pile generally good, near original closely sheared 1/8 inch with minor areas low to knotheads--not serious. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt---should enhance with cleaning. Original 2 cord brown wool selvages intact. Lower end with original flatweave and warp fringes; upper end secured with binding stitch. Supple handle, sound fabric, good overall condition.
