the octagonal gilt-tooled leather-lined top above a conforming paneled frieze fitted with a long drawer flanked by two swing drawers, one fitted with ink and writing compartments, the other stamped GILLOWS LANCASTER; on a tapering octagonal stem raised on downswept legs ending in brass-capped casters.

Condition

Overall good condition, the top with a replaced gilt-tooled brown leather lined writing surface. Handles replaced. Overall with some small chips, nicks and scratches with minor areas of in-filling and small veneer patches to cross-banded edges to top. Mahogany lined drawers.
