the S-scrolled pediment centered by an urn finial above a pair of glazed doors opening to two adjustable shelves, the lower projecting section fitted with a secretaire drawer opening to a leather-lined writing surface before an arrangement of pigeon holes and small drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors opening to three sliding shelves, raised on splayed feet. The lock to the secretaire drawer stamped I . BRAMAH PATENT.
Condition
Overall good condition; the upper section fitted for electricity to the top; finial appears to be contemporary; one pane of glass with hairline spider crack; the lower section with old scratches to top of projecting section and with some patches to veneers at corners; handles secretaire drawer probably later; some age cracks to veneers to feet; front right foot with old repaired chips; overall with some old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
