Condition

Overall restored condition with a glossy surface. The interior of the slant front with a later leather lined writing surface. The underside of the top with two vertical channels possibly to reduce warpage. The slide is bowing, some replaced cross-cut moldings to front of slide. The valences to the pigeon holes appear to be replaced. Small drawers to sides of pigeon holes possibly later. The right central drawer with a large veneer patch. Escutcheons and handles replaced. The apron with some veneer patches and chips to veneers. Drawer fronts with two short drawers with circular patches where previous pulls were fitted. Overall old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
