Catalogue Note

The arms are those of Marsham, for Charles Marsham, 4th Earl of Romney, J.P. Norfolk, President of the Marine Society, Lord-in-Waiting 1889-92.  He was born in 1841, married in 1863 Lady Frances Augusta Constance Muir Campbell-Rawdon Hastings, daughter and co-heir of George Augustus Francis, 2nd Marquess of Hastings.  He died in 1905 and she in 1910.
