Description

the four-lobed body supported on a tall spreading foot, flanked by a pair of chilong clambering up to the flaring rim, the stepped cover surmounted by a cluster of blossoming lotus flowers, the stone of pale celadon white tone with russet orange inclusions

Condition

The vase is in excellent condition with the exception of minor nibbling along the extremeties of the carving such as the mouth rim. The jade is of a slightly more translucent tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
