standing four-square, its head turned to the left with its trunk curled up, elaborately draped with a jewelled saddle and a tasselled blanket decorated with the Daoist yinyang symbol, rocks and cresting waves, the stone of pale celadon tone with an area of the caramel skin to the upper area of the carving
Condition
The pebble has several natural inclusions including a 3.5cm flaw running diagonally and another 2.1cm flaw running adjacent to it with associated flakes on the caramel skin to the upper carving.
