crouching four square on its paws, the angled head carefully rendered with bushy eyebrows and rounded eyes, the muscles and limbs clearly defined, its mouth pierced with a hole as spout with the small opening on its back forming the circular stopper, the stone of pale celadon tone with milky inclusions and streaks of russet veining, wood stand

The water dropper is in excellent condition with the exception of natural veining across the stone with associated flakes, particularly on one of the hind legs of the animal and its bifurcated tail. The stone is of a slightly darker celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
