the brown-ground embroidered with eight rampant dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls set against bats, ruyi cloud scrolls and the bajixiang symbols, all above turbulent waves crashing on a rocky mountain and hemmed with a lishui border

Condition

The robe is in good condition with the exception of minor losses particularly along the shoulder line, 1.5 x 1.5cm stains at the slit near the bottom, and loose threads. The colour is generally well-preserved.
