Description

  • embroidered dragon robe
the orange gauze embroidered in gold and copper thread with five-clawed dragons, the central dragon on the front and back depicted en face encircling a flaming pearl, with two attendant dragons below and on the shoulders depicted in profile hovering above a border of mountain and cresting waves, all reserved on a ground of cloud scrolls and bats

Condition

The robe was altered in the time where the front and the back have been shortened by internal pleats. It is in excellent condition with the exception of very minor loose threads.
