the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapering foot, the interior carved with a single peony spray in the centre, surrounded by large leafy peony scrolls below a keyfret border, the exterior similarly moulded with large leafy peony scrolls between a stylised cloud scroll and a keyfret band, covered overall with an even celadon glaze, the base with a six-character Qianlong seal mark

The bowl is in good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots and burst glaze bubbles particularly along the rim. There are a circa 1.5cm crack running from the inner wall of the foot to the footring and minor surface scratchings.
