- gilt-splashed bronze
the compressed globular body with in-curved sides rising from a tapering foot to a rolled lip, the surface of the bronze covered in a rich toffee patina with irregular gold splashes, the base inscribed with a two-character seal mark reading hong ting
Condition
The censer is in good condition with the exception of pinpricks and minor nicks.
