the circular disc carved on both sides in relief with three entwined chilong around the central aperture on a ground of C-shaped scrolls and swirls, all encircled by an outer register with stylised archaistic spirals, the stone of grey brown tone with russet skin, wood stand

Condition
The bi has a 2.2 x 0.2cm nick and minor nibbles to the outer edge. The grey jade has been burnt and shows significant amount of calcification with natural veining and associated flakes. The stone is of a warmer russet tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
