Provenance

Purchased directly from the artist by a member of the family in Shanghai between 1963 and 1965.

Condition

The painting is in very good overall condition with the exception of a very light 8cm vertical crease running down the left arm (as illustrated) of the figure and a small area of bubbling to the paper on the right arm.
