  • jade
of flattened rectangular form flaring slightly at the rounded blade, pierced with a circular hole for attachment to a shaft, the stone of grey olive tone with brown skin

Condition

The axe head has retained much of its original brown skin and is of general good condition with the exception of natural veining throughout the surface with associated flakes, one of 3.5cm x 1cm on one side and a triangular flake of 1cm x 1cm near the blade.
