- kesi dragon robe
finely woven with eight gold dragons on a chestnut brown silk ground amid ruyi clouds and bats above foaming waves crashing against a mountain, hemmed with a lishui border
Condition
The blue underlining of the front collar near the button has a circa 7cm line where the weaving is frayed. There are minor areas of loose threads to the woven design including the gold thread to the dragon on the left shoulder and discolouration of the blue lining along the lower left hem measuring 11 x 5cm but the robe is otherwise in excellent condition.
