comprising four silver-gilt ornaments each in openwork design of a five-petalled flower head surrounded by leafy foliate scrolls and studded bosses; and a pair of gold diadems worked with a radiating comb of triangular finials surmounted by peony flower heads, secured with wire work detail

Condition

The four ornaments show overall rubbing to the silver-gilt, deposits of verdigris, and general darkening due to oxidation. The pair of diadems has a layer of calcified deposits on the combed structures with traces of verdigris and appears slightly darkened due to oxidation.
