The hairpin with a single prong is in good condition with the exception of minor flaws in the process of making including loose ends from attachment points and deposits of verdigris. The head of the double-pronged hairpin shows signs of oxidation and rustication which appears dark grey and brick-red but is otherwise in good condition.
