Description

of rectangular form, carved in relief with various scholar's objects including a 'chilong' garlic mouth vase, a tripod ding, books and scrolls, a phoenix-shaped censer and a ruyi sceptre, all reserved on a diaper ground

Condition

The plaque is in good condition with the exception of a circa 4cm loss to one of the brushes in the zhadou, the clean break has now been repolished. There are minor nicks to the extremities of the carving and slight wear to the patina.
