standing, wearing long-sleeved robes and holding an opened scroll to his chest revealing the four-character inscription tian guan ci fu (may blessings be bestowed by the Daoist Immortal), his bearded face with gentle smile and framed by a high peaked cap, the ivory patinated to a warm honey tone, wood stand

Condition

The carving is in very good condition with the exception of several characteristic vertical hairline age cracks.
