each with a facetted body rising from a barbed flared foot to a waisted bamboo-form neck and everted mouth, the shoulder applied with a long spout in the form of a phoenix head, painted on each side in bright enamels with panelled designs of floral branches issuing from rockwork and different diaper grounds

These kendi are in reasonable condition. Both have an area of restoration to the back side of the foot. One has a crack where the phoenix head spout meets the body. There is also a small amount of green enamel loss to the spout. The other is in good condition, but does have some fritting to the lower side of the mouth, the back of the neck and to the spout a the base of the head of the phoenix.
