seated enthroned with a small child seated in her lap, legs crossed beneath the voluminous folds of a wide sleeved green robe opening at the chest, the robe decorated with crane roundels, radiating cloud scrolls and lotus flowers, crisply modelled with delineated facial features, the hair left in biscuit and gathered at the top into a high coiffure draped over by a veil, the throne fringed with lotus petals above a pierced fence around the high hexagonal plinth, decorated with trellis diaper ground panels pierced with ruyi head apertures and a central panel enclosing chrysanthemum sprays, glazed in green, yellow and aubergine

Condition
The figure is reasonable condition, but has restoration to both hands. Additionally it is missing the index finger of the right hand and the small finger of the left one. There is restoration to the child's head and the flower that he is holding. The stand has restoration to the right front side which includes two of the lotus petals. One other lotus petal towards the cenre is restored and one has broken off (but is retained). There is also restoration to the left side of the base just below the lotus petals. There is restoration to one of the balustrades (far left one). There is also a number of firing cracks running around the back of the upper part of th stand.
