the cylindrical body finely painted in shades of underglaze blue with a continuous narrative scene depicting a court audience with two officers bearing hu tablets before a central general flanked by attendants, framed by plantain trees and swirling clouds, the cylindrical neck with ruyi-head, key fret and cloud scroll borders, with a keyfret band to the everted mouth rim

Condition

The base with a four-point star crack, the longest branch measuring 7-8cm running up to the side. Another 1cm hairline at the side near the base. Tiny surface scratchings, max. 2cm and other glaze firing imperfections including iron spots, burst glaze bubbles etc.
