the bald-headed figure seated with legs pendent, his right hand resting on his lap while his left hand slightly raised in a matter of speech, depicted with a serene expression with a gentle smile, a dense beard and moustache, dressed in loose fitting robes tied around the waist suspending a tassel, the robe decorated to the front with four dragon roundels and stylised cloud scrolls, all draped over with a shawl painted with stylised chrysanthemum flowers with radiating leafy tendrils, with wood stand
Condition
The index finger to the left hand is possibly broken and restuck with associated overpaint and overspray. There are a 0.5 x 0.5 cm unglazed raised bump and a circa 22cm crack to the back of the figure. There are other minor firing imperfections such as firing cracks (longest 3cm), burst glaze bubbles, iron spots etc.
