the rounded shoulders rising from a slightly flaring foot to a short neck, decorated with four cream-coloured peony blossoms borne on an undulating leafy scroll in turquoise, all reserved on an attractive mottled aubergine ground, the glaze thickening and stopping above the foot, the base with an opaque beige glaze

Condition

The neck has a 9 x 2.5cm area of restoration which has now been reglazed and repainted. There is a 0.2 x 0.2cm glaze chip and other minor (0.1 x 0.1cm) chips to the shoulder and near the rim. The shoulder also has a 1cm scratch, other minor surface scratchings are visible.
