Description

  • porcelain
of inverted V-shape, enamelled on both sides with five bats in flight amidst swirling cloud sprays, variously clasping peach sprigs, lingzhi fungus and a ribboned wan emblem, all reserved against a turquoise ground and edged by a pink-enamelled scroll border, pierced at the centre with two circular apertures for suspension, the sides yellow enamelled and gilded

Condition

In good general condition, with some small enamel flakes and wear to gilt rims. Several burst air bubbles and glaze inclusions throughout, most specifically to the rims. The turquoise and yellow enamel with a faint crackle.
