the deity kneeling on a raised lotus base with the left leg raised and palms uplifted at the chest, wearing an elaborate dhoti with a beaded and tasselled waist band, and a shawl open at the chest revealing a beaded necklace, the serene face framed by large pendant earrings and a five-leaf diadem securing the hair tied into a knotted chignon, the face, torso, arms and feet brightly gilded to imitate gilt-bronze, the garments and lotus base covered in a robins-egg glaze with details picked out in turquoise and blue

Condition

The base of the figure has a two-character ink inscription reading 'xi feng'. The figure is in excellent condition with the exception of minor surface rubbing.
