the rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, the exterior lightly incised with a ground of cresting waves and stylised mountains, painted in bright iron-red enamels with eight mythical creatures including a winged dragon, carp, qilin and horse, the interior glazed white, inscribed to the base with a six-character Daoguang seal mark

Two rim cracks, measuring approximately 20mm and 35mm; one shallow 1mm rim chip.
