Description

of ogee form, the sunken centre decorated in bright enamels within an underglaze-blue outline with a stylised flowerhead surrounded by eight alternating peaches and lotus blossoms within a green border of interlocking scrolls, the concave cavetto set with beribboned attributes of the Eight Daoist Immortals (an baxian), encircled around the exterior with eight sprays of stylised flowers against scrolling leaves above linked ruyi heads, all decorations encircled with double line borders, the base inscribed with a six-character Qianlong seal mark

Condition

Two rim cracks, measuring approximately 25mm and 15mm; 1 rim chip, measuring approximately 2mm and 3 other minor firing imperfections to rim. Some surface scratches to interior; otherwise in good general condition.
