the shallow rounded sides rising from a straight foot rim, the exterior boldly painted with a continuous scene depicting two attendants holding dishes bearing precious objects, together with a caparisoned deer bearing a further precious object on its back and a green-saddled qilin, all amidst floral sprays and stylised clouds, the rim painted with a band of six red and yellow-enamelled florets borne on broad leaves, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a red-enamelled full-frontal winged dragon, feiyu, the base bearing the six-character Wanli mark within a double circle
Condition
In good general condition; a faint firing crack to the vase to the left of the 'Li' character. Approximately 22mm along the rim very faintly polished or abraded.
