  • gilt-bronze cloisonne enamel
the shallow flaring sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, decorated overall with stylised lotus blooms on tight scrolling leafy stems with a central gilt-bronze double-lotus support, all surrounded by a gilt-bronze keyfret border, the exterior similarly decorated

Condition

The cupstand is in very good condition with the exception of minor pinprick holes to the enamels and verdegris deposits and surface scratchings on the gilt-bronze. The centre of the double-lotus support is slightly slanted and uneven.
