Description

  • huanghuali wood
of cylindrical section, the sides of unequal thickness and the exterior naturalistically carved with whorls and knots to simulate a segment of tree trunk, the wood of caramel-brown tone, with inlaid base

Condition

This brushpot is in good condition, but has a 1cm by 1cm chip to the interior rim, there is also a minor 1.5cm split to the rim. There is also some scratches and nicks to the rim. There is also numerous scratches to the edge of the underside of the base.
