the pear-shaped body rising to a neck widening evenly towards the rim and standing on five curled and barbed upright leaves on a circular ring foot, covered overall in a lavender-blue glaze with occasional splashes of rich purple suffusing to violet, the glaze thinning at the rim to a mushroom colour

Condition

Breaks and restoration to the raised barbed leaves and ring foot; show one partially over-painted break visible to the leaves, and 3 related breaks to the ring foot visible. Otherwise in good condition. The glaze with an attractive network of crackle.
