Description

  • stoneware
with widely flared sides incurved towards the rim, covered in a bright lavender blue glaze coagulating unevenly short of the slightly splayed knife-pared foot,  draining at the rim to a greyish mushroom tone

Condition

In very good general condition. Small glaze inclusions and iron-spots to the interior; with two pitted areas to glaze to enterior (measuring approximately 3mm x 3mm and 4mm x 2mm). Several old chips to foot. The initials 'WST' inscribed to base.
